Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) – Weekday/ Weekend
Program Overview
With industry fast moving towards automation, the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) coupled with the regular bachelors and the diploma program indeed drives in accomplishing the total development of the student. Birla Institute of Technology, off shore Campus, RAK will be a partner college with Siemens for rolling out this certification program. This program would be closely associated with the diploma and the bachelors programs of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics engineering.
SMSCP’s technical content focuses on key industrial skill areas, such as electrical components, sensors, motor controls, PLCs, and hydraulics and pneumatics. In addition to teaching the technical knowledge, SMSCP stresses troubleshooting and system-based technical thinking via hands-on training. This technical training, paired with our certifications, creates well-grounded workers that can easily meet the challenges of high- tech and advanced manufacturing industries.
Information for Students
Against the backdrop of the technical dominance of Siemens in automation and mechatronic fields, as well as the growing number of areas in which integrated mechatronic systems are being used around the world, the demand for qualified and competent future employees is increasing. For this reason, Siemens Technik Akademie Berlin has developed the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP). .Its aim is to effectively educate students from colleges and universities around the world in mechatronics and to offer a world-class industry certification in mechatronic systems. Along with specialized technical content, the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Pro- gram focuses on providing a wide range of skills in trouble-shooting, systems-thinking and technical decision-making.
