Production Engineering (PE)

An Overview: BE- Production Engineering is four years degree course consisting of 8 semesters.  The first two years of the course is conducted at the BIT UAE campus and the final two years at the BIT Mersa main campus in Ranchi, India.  The Production Engineering branch develops students to be technologically and managerially sound to meet the challenges of the present era of globalization.

Applications: Production Engineering finds applications in Automobile, CNC Machines, Manufacturing, Foundry and Forging Industries etc.

Employment opportunities: Production engineers get opportunities to work in Automobile, CNC Machines, Manufacturing, Foundry and Forging Industries etc..

Entry level eligibility: Class 12 / A’Level or equivalent examination, with minimum 60% marks. Marks in Class 12 should be computed as average of the best of five subjects including English, Physics, Mathematics and other two subjects.
